1. Controller

For requests from the EU/EEA, you may also contact the controller at the above address. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not required to under Art. 37 GDPR / Art. 10 revFADP.

2. Data we collect

• Property data: type, ZIP, city, street, living area, rooms, build/renovation year, condition, micro-location, energy class, parking.
• Contact data: full name, email, Swiss phone number, and consent timestamp — submitted only when you request your estimate.
• Technical data: IP address, browser headers and timestamps, processed only for security and abuse prevention.
• Local storage: a session key holding your in-progress answers, and your language preference. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Estimate generation — performance of a service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 31(1) revFADP).
• Contacting you about a consultation — your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 31(1) revFADP) confirmed by the checkbox at submission.
• Service security and fraud prevention — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Legal obligations — record-keeping where required by Swiss or EU law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is processed by AI Powerhouse Swiss AG and the following sub-processors under written data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR / Art. 9 revFADP):

• Hosting and database: Supabase (EU region) / Cloudflare Workers (EU edge).
• Geocoding lookup: OpenStreetMap Nominatim (Foundation, UK) — only the address you enter is sent.

We do not sell your data, do not engage in profiling with legal effect, and do not transfer your data to third countries outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland unless protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. Retention

Valuation enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, then deleted or anonymised. Local browser storage is cleared when you close the tab or click "reset". You can request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion ("right to be forgotten"), restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–22 GDPR; Art. 25–28 revFADP). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any right, email privacy@ai-realestates.com — we respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or your local EU supervisory authority.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS, stored encrypted at rest, and access is limited to authorised staff via role-based access control with audit logging. We follow the technical and organisational measures required by Art. 32 GDPR and Art. 8 revFADP.
